If I could store all of my CDs uncompressed I’d be looking at about 300GB, give or take a few GB (not to mention adding more CDs before I have enough hard drive space to do so). Then maybe you get into DVD rips and TV shows recorded on your Tivo, which currently can take 300MB per episode compressed.
