Recalibrating the desktop replacement form factor lets the ROG Mothership offer impressive sound from four front-facing speakers positioned directly at the user. Gone are the ON Semiconductor FDMF3170 Smart Power Stage modules with integrated PowerTrench MOSFETs and driver ICs, found on  2080 and 2080 Ti. Even the cheaper NCP302155s utilized by 2070 (and capable of currents up to 55A) are gone, replaced by lower-end ON Semiconductor NCP302150s with high- and low-side MOSFETs, plus a driver, rated for 45A each. Current to the GPU is smoothed by the usual 220mH coils, while the memory similarly employs 470mH inductors.

Painter Margaret Neumann has cast an aura over Denver’s art scene for decades, first with Colorado’s counterculture Armory Group in the ’60s — some of whose members helped found the Drop City artist commune in southern Colorado — and later as a co-op stalwart at Spark and Pirate galleries. Long represented by Rule Gallery through its many phases, Neumann also had a role as a resident resource artist in the early days of RedLine. As the nonprofit art center continues to celebrate its tenth anniversary, Neumann returns with a major retrospective, What Lies Between, curated by Simon Zalkind. A fitting tribute to an artist whose mysterious and masterful paintings dig deep into the human experience, What Lies Between opens with a reception on Saturday, November 10, from 6 to 9 p.m. at RedLine, 2350 Arapahoe Street, and runs through January 6; an artist talk is scheduled for December 14. Adorning the top-end of the engine build, ARP head studs are tasked with keeping a pair of CNC-ported LS7 cylinder heads clamped down at maximum force, paired with a matching LS7 intake manifold, all ported by Greg Good. A Brian Tooley Racing stage IV camshaft and matching dual valvesprings controls the valve events, while JTR 1 7/8-inch headers and a custom 3-inch stainless steel exhaust provides clean-up duty in showing spent gasses the way out.

California State Route 138, is considered to be one of the most dangerous routes running through California. It has so many dangers that the route has been nicknamed many less than favourable names due to its high-risk status, says Cutterlaw. The route, which runs from Interstate 15 to Palmdale, sees quite a lot of risky road conditions from the blazing heat of Southern California’s deserts, two-lane roads making it a tight drive, and poorly lit areas making visibility very low, says the source. If traffic in California wasn’t bad enough, throw Route 138 as the cherry on top!
