Patty Murray (D-Wash.) argue that a September Federal Register notice formally announcing the policy “attempts to defend [its] validity. . .but again fails to show that its criteria meet the minimum requirements of current regulations.” They also complain that FSIS failed to update them over the past 60 days on the status of waiver applications, as requested in a July 30 letter.
